Kent-Moore DT-52322 | Manual Shaft Seal Remover
Application: 2019 Cruze and Malibu with VT40 Automatic Transmission, 2020 Buick Encore GX and Chevrolet TRailblazer w/VT40 (RPO MRG) TransmissionDT-52322 has an angled half-circle edge that goes around the Seal to make 180° of contact with the Seal and wedges under the Seal metal lip. TapPing on the Tool with a hammer forces the Tool edge under the metal lip and raises the Seal so it can then be pried out by tilting and using the L-shape bEnd in the Tool as a lever fulcrum.The Tool has the added benefit of being able to be used for Seal Removal on-vehicle with the manual Shaft in the Transmission.
