Kent-Moore DT-52754 | Remover/Installer, Hub Nut
The full-floating hubs are held onto the Axle Carrier by a circular Nut, which has reliefs for a Socket to engage and Drive the Nut for Removal and Installation. The hub Nut was redesigned for increased Load, and current Axle hub Nut Sockets do not fit the new Nut used on MY2020 Silverado and Sierra 2500/3500 HD truck 11.5” and 12.0” Axles with Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) hubs. DT-52754 fits the new hub Nut and is used to remove the Nut and to Install it to the correct preLoad. Failure to use DT-52754 will result in less than designed component life.
