Kent Moore Tools J-46911 | Protector, Fuel Injector Seal

Application: 2016-later Medium Duty Low Cab Forward (LCF) TrucksJ-46911 is used to Install new DPF Injector Seals, and includes a Seal Protector, Seal Pusher, and Seal Sizer. The Protector is placed onto the tip of the Injector and a Seal is placed onto the ramp of the Protector. The Pusher is used against the Seal to push it up the ramp and into the Injector tip groove. The technician then uses his fingers to seat the Seal into the Seal groove by hand.Once the Seal is seated in the groove, the Sizer is Installed over the Injector tip and Seal to compress the Seal to the required size for Injector Installation. Failure to Install and size the Seal correctly will lead to Seal damage and Leaking past the Injector.
