Kent Moore Tools DT-49906 | Remover, Pinion Inner Bearing Cup
The Inner Pinion Bearing cup is bottomed into its Bore in the RDM Housing, without access to remove it using a Brass drift, as used on other Axles. Because of the limited access and lack of reliefs in the casting, DT-49906 is designed to fit through the Bearing cup on 218 mm Ring Gear RDMs, and then be seated against the exposed cup lip (approximately 1-2 mm). Once DT-49906 is positioned correctly, previously Essential J-42176 Driver Handle is attached to DT-49906 and used with a hammer to Drive the cup out of the RDM Housing.
