DT-49831 removes and Installs the Bearing in the 6T45 AWD 2-Pinion Differential Carrier. It is colored blue to distinguish it from the red Tool for the 4-Pinion Carrier, DT-50087

Kent Moore Tools - DT-49831 - Features

  • The differential bearing in the 6T45 AWD 6-speed transaxle must be removed without damage to the aluminum housing and a new bearing installed to a precise depth. Based on GVW, a vehicle will get a transaxle with either 2 pinion or 4 pinion carrier. DT-49831 removes and installs the bearing in the 2 pinion differential carrier. It will be colored blue to distinguish it from the tool for the 4 pinion carrier, DT-50087 as they are very similar in design. Along with the p/n, DT-49831 will also be marked with "2 Pinion".
