  • Rear Crankshaft Seal Installer
  • While working on the Mercedes MBE900, the J-46390 is used to install the rear crankshaft seal to the correct position.
  • Do not lubricate the crankshaft rear oil seal. Be sure to inspect the flywheel contact surface and replace if damaged.
  • Place the oil seal in place with the J-46390 insuring even pressure on the drive handle. Inspect sealing lip on the radial seal to insure proper installation. Install flywheel using locating dowels for placement.
  • Always refer to your repair manual for most up-to-date procedure.
