Kent Moore Tools J-44748 | Remover, Seal

Application: 2020 Chevrolet Corvette w/Tremec DCT TR-9080 (RPO M1L)J-44748 is used with J-23907-1 Slide Hammer to remove the Input Shaft Seal from the DCT Transmission when Seal replacement is needed. J-44748 must be used because the Seal Installs into the Front cover and onto the Input Shaft at the same time, and has no gap like there would be on a Transmission with a Torque Convertor. J-44748 fits between the lip of the Seal and the Input Shaft without damaging the Input Shaft.Unapproved Removal methods may damage the Input Shaft.

• Kent-Moore Tools J-44748 Remover, Seal For General Motors. 2001-Later C/K truck with ZF 6 - Speed manual transmission The input shaft oil seal on the ZF 6-Speed manual transmission is installed in its bore to a specific depth, and has no bottom land in bore. The input shaft oil seal is also sealing tightly against the input shaft. Improper removal methods may force the input shaft oil seal into the transmission, resulting in unnecessary repair time. J-44748 is designed so that the input shaft oil seal can be removed from the transmission without disassembling the unit. The lip of J-44748 is placed between the seal and the input shaft. J-444748 is rolled up against the input shaft to engage its lip behind the seal, and used with previously essential J-23907 slide hammer to remove the seal.
