Kent Moore Tools J-44644 | Front Crankshaft Seal Remover

2001- Later GMT800, 2500HD, 3500 with 6.6 liter Duramax diesel engine. The Rear Seal is press fitted to both the engine Block and Crank Shaft. Through Testing, it has been deTermined the common practice of prying Seals from the cLock is not acceptable due to potential damage to the Block and Crank Shaft. J-44644 is a special Set of jaws used with the plate and screw Assembly from J-44641. The forcing screw attached to the plate is used to react against the Crank Shaft End to pull the Seal out.
