Kent Moore Tools J-41507 | Connecting Rod Assembly Guide

C, H, W, F, G, 3.8L Engine This aluminum Tool is designed to thread into Connecting Rod and assists in assembling the Connecting Rod/Piston Assembly to the Crank Shaft. The Tool serves (3) purposes: (1) it holds the Bearing in place while feeding the Rod through the Block (2) it acts as a Guide to prevent the sharp corners of Connecting Rod from contacting the Piston Bore (3) it is knurled near the End which allows it to be used as a Handle to pull the Assembly through the Block and onto the Crank Shaft. This Tool also aids in Piston Removal without damaging Crank Pin.
