During unit Repair of the TR6060 manual Transmission, many Bearings, Synchronizer Hubs, and Gears must be pressed onto either the main Shaft or the counter Shaft over a great deal of the Shaft length. J-39441 is used to Install the components squarely over either Shaft by itself up to 195 mm (11.7?), and is used with J-39441-10 (additional 95 mm/3.75?) and J-39441-20 (additional 172 mm/6.75?) to position components where required over the entire length of either Shaft. J-39441 also includes hardware to allow it to Install components without the use of a press, by Threading into the End of the Shaft being Serviced, and drawing components into place.
