- Product Description
- The Kent-Moore KM J-38864 Door Module Coil Spring Tool is a specialized tool designed to remove and install the coil spring on the door module of a 1997 U-Van. The tool consists of a long handle with a hook at the end that fits over the spring and a threaded rod that is inserted into the hole in the center of the spring. To remove the spring, the tool is inserted into the hole in the center of the spring and the threaded rod is turned clockwise to compress the spring. The hook on the end of the tool is then used to lift the spring out of the hole. To install the spring, the tool is inserted into the hole in the center of the spring and the threaded rod is turned counterclockwise to release the spring. The hook on the end of the tool is then used to lower the spring into the hole.
