J-28467-550 is required as current Engine Support beam Adapters do not mount securely to the 2008 Cadillac CTS structure. J-28467-550 is designed to interface and properly distribute the Load to the vehicle structure when the Engine Support Fixture is used. J-28467-550 is also designed to raise the Engine Support Fixture Support beam above the supercharger on the 2008 Cadillac CTS. Attempts to Support the Engine without J-28467-550 may result in increased labor time and/or component damage
