Kent Moore Tools EN-46091-15A | Engine Pressure Test Adapter

The Tool is used for the full System exhaust Leak Test on the Duramax Diesel (LGH/LML) Engine. When the Diesel Exhaust Catalyst (DOC) is separated from the Turbo Exhaust Inlet Pipe, the EN-46091-15A is placed on the inlet pipe and secured with the exhaust Clamp at which point, regulated shop Air is applied to the connection on the Tool and the vehicle induction and exhaust System is checked for Leaks.

• Air leaks into the induction or exhaust systems can lead to a number of driveability symptoms, many of which are incorrectly attributed to the turbo. J-46091-15 is used to pressurize the engine exhaust, cylinders, intake, and turbo impeller systems to check for air leaks, and is used to isolate the engine from the charge air cooler (CAC) system. J-46091-15 includes replaceable gaskets to seal to the down pipe, and installs to the turbo down pipe using the vehicle V-band clamp.
