Kent Moore Tools EL-50193 | Scan Tool Adapter
EL-50193 must be used with a scan Tool to ensure diagnostic communication through the DLC. AntiLock Braking System (ABS) diagnosis with a scan Tool is not possible without using EL-50193. Some scan Tools also may not be able to communicate with the vehicle modules at all without using EL-50193. In order for a scan Tool to communicate with the vehicle modules, EL-50193 is Installed between the scan Tool Cable and the DLC. EL-50193 can be used both with and without the Candi module. Failure to use EL-50193 will result in lack of communication with the scan Tool, and lead to mis-diagnosis.
