Application: 10L80/10L90 TransmissionDT-52086 is used to compress the A-Clutch return Spring to allow Removal and Installation of the Clutch Retaining Ring. It is used with the GRE Transmission adjustable Compressor Bridge DT-51892. The adjustability of DT-51892 allows it to expand enough to contact the Spring but keep the Spring from flexing and causing damage. DT-52086 contacts the entire perimeter of the of Spring to compress it evenly.
