Kent Moore Tools DT-48877 | Protector, L/S Seal

The 218 mm Ring Gear Rear Drive Module (RDM) in Camaros uses a wheel Drive Shaft not previously used in GM vehicles. The spLines on the wheel Drive Shaft will also nick or damage the RDM Output Seal duting wheel Drive Shaft Installaion. DT-48877 prevents damage to the Sealing lips. DT-48877 is placed into the Seal, and the wheel Drive Shaft fits through its center. DT-48877 is split on top to allow it to be removed once the spLines are safely through the Seal.
