Used to remove and Install the "Skip-Shift" solenoid on TR3160, TR6060 and TR6070 manual Transmissions from model year 2009-current (longer solenoid). Also fits past models and replaces DT-48827. Also fits past models and replaces DT-48827.Whenever the skip-Shift solenoid is serviced, it must be Torqued to 40 N-m (30 lb-ft). The solenoid is mounted to the Transmission at an angle in a recessed area near the top-mounted Shifter. Although the Rear cross member must be removed and the Rear of the Transmission lowered for access, DT-49293 fits over the Body of the solenoid, and allows it to be removed and Installed without removing the Transmission from the vehicle.
