Application: 2017-later Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana (G-van) with 2.8L diesel Engine (RPO LWN)The 2.8L diesel Engine (LWN) in 2017 G-van models is Installed and removed from the bottom of the vehicle through the Frame Rails. The Engine must be positioned to the mounts at specific angles once it is between and above the Frame Rails approximately 35-45 cm. Currently available Powertrain lifts are not able to fit between the Frame Rails to safely position the Engine to allow servicing the mounts. EN-51582 attaches to a Powertrain lift, such as GE-52200, and also to the bottom of the Engine at the Oil pan Rail to match the angles required to remove and Install the Engine. EN-51582 is fastened to the Powertrain lift using four ratchet straps, which are not included in EN-51582; these are supplied by the user. EN-51582 locates to the Oil pan Rail at four points, and is Bolted at two of these. Unapproved Removal or Installation methods may damage components or could result in injury.
IMPORTANT: EN-51582 must be securely fastened to the Powertrain lift with four user-supplied ratchet straps (not included)
