Application:?2016-current Cadillac CTS AWD Front Axle (FDU)The Pinion Seal on the CT6 Front Drive Unit (FDU) is Installed to a specific dimension below the case lip.?DT-51977 Installs the Pinion Seal to the correct EngineeRing specified positions.?Once the Seal has been removed, and the case cleaned, the Pinion Seal is placed onto the End of DT-51977.?The Seal is then Installed using a mallet against DT-51977.?Failure to use DT-51977 may result in an incorrect placement of the Seal, and less than designed Seal life.
