Kent Moore Tools J-44388 | Checking Fixture, Final End

2000 j/n F23 Transaxle. The EndPlay of the Final Drive Unit must be correct for proper performance and to prevent damage to the Transmission. Tool J-44388 consists of 4 pieces, which are used to make the measurements for calculating the correct shim thickness. The final Drive End Play check is made by inserting the Measuring disc J-44388 into the Bearing Race of the Transmission case. The Gauge J-44388 is placed across the case, and the clearance is measured to deTermine the necessary shim for proper operation.
