EL-51578 is a Set of 6 header Connectors with looped circuits and 1 Harness Connector with looped circuits that allow Systematic elimination and byPassing of individual modules on the Media Oriented Systems Transport (MOST 50) bus. As modules are eliminated the bus Electronic Control Line (wakeup Signal) can also be monitored and analyzed. If the DTC goes away, then the byPassed module is at fault. If two adjacent modules on the bus are byPassed without a change in the infotainment symptom/DTC U0028 status, then the Wires and Connectors would require further analysis and Repairing. These header byPass Connectors would be used along with Radio DTC U0028/Data DisPlay for root cause analysis. without these Tools the technician may cause Terminal damage, or may not use the proper twisted Pair Wire while attempting a manual Jumper byPass.
