The original On-Star Antenna Diagnostic Tool kit EL-49903 is required to properly diagnose the On-Star System antenna circuit in the vehicle. The Tool kit consists of a substitute antenna (EL-49903-1) and an Adapter Cable (EL-49903-2) to allow connection to more than one type of On-Star module. This will deTermine if the problem is with the vehicle antenna circuit or the On-Star module itself.  On-Star Gen9 requires a new Adapter Cable EL-49903-4 and a diplexer combiner (EL-49903-5) that Supports a composite of cell phone and gPS Signals on a single coax Input. EL-49903-3 will Adapter to the current EL-49903-1 Substitute Antenna. EL-49903-3 is now superseded to EL-49903-3A. EL-49903-3A is a kit consisting of EL-49903-4, EL-49903-5, EL-49903-6 and EL-49903-7. EL-49903-6 Adapter, RF Cable F (Gray-Brown) and EL-49903-7 Adapter, RF Cable G (Gray-Gray)
