Kent Moore Tools DT-51075 | Puller Legs
The 4th Speed Driven Gear is pressed onto the Main Shaft approximately 30 cm (12 in.) from the End of the Shaft, and has a high interference fit, with very little clearance under the Gear. In order to remove the Gear for unit Repair, a Puller must overcome the press Load, length of pull, and limited clearance. DT-51075 Puller Legs fit under the Gear, and are used with either J-22888-20A or J-8433-1 Pullers (TBD) against the End of the Shaft to pull the Gear. In order to prevent slipPing and causing Gear damage, DT-51075 includes a collar to hold the Ends of the Legs engaged around the Gear.
