Kent Moore Tools EN-48974-20 | Adapter Set, Egr Cooler Tester
The 2010-I Duramax 6.6L will use a 2-piece EGR Cooler with additional coolant Hose Barbs. In order to diagnose the EGR coolers for Leaks, J-46091-1 Pressure Regulator and EN-48974 EGR Cooler Pressure Tester are used with EN-48974-20 Adapters. The caps and Adapters from EN-48974 and EN-48974-20 are attached to the coolant Hose Barbs and outlets of the EGR cooler. J-46091-1 is attached to the most accessible Adapter, and used to pressurize the EGR cooler as directed by SI. Unapproved methods will damage or overpressurize the EGR Cooler.EN-48974-20 includes EN-48974-21 (1/2?Adapter), EN-48974-22 (5/16?Adapter), 553015 (5/16?cap), 553016 (1/2?cap), 553017 (7/8?cap) and non-marRing Hose Clamps to fit the cooler Hose connections.
