Half Round Chisels are drop forged, heat treated, quenched and tempered carbon steel construction. Available in 3/16" and 1/4" point sizes. These are special purpose hand tools with cutting edge designed for cutting, shaping or removing metal softer that itself when struck with a hammer. They are generally used for cutting round or semi-circular grooves and for chipping inside corners which have been filleted or rounded.
