4T65E Transaxles. The 4T65E uses Torx 30 plus fasteners to secure the channel plate to the Case. These are used to achieve a higher torque spec at manufactuRing. If a standard Torx bit is used, the head of the bolt will strip out. The Torx Plus will also allow the bolt to be torqued to the correct specification. Used with a ratchet and an appropriate bit Holder.
