Camshaft Chain Stopper
If you need to work on the cylinder head or valve train of the 4 cylinder Nissan KA24E or related engines such as found in the Hardbody pickup, Stanza and others, you need one of these to keep the camshaft drive chain from falling dropping off the lower drive sprocket or even into the oil pan. In addition, the hyraulic chain tensioner piston likely will pop out and fall into the oil pan requiring a major disassembly to retrieve it. The price is ridiculous for what is essentially a piece of carefully shaped wood with a lawnmower starter rope and handle attached, but Auto Tool World was the cheapest by about $10.00. I received the order in 3 days, so very good service.
