The Ring Gear must be positioned very precisely in relation to the Pinion for optimum performance and durability. When the Pinion is being Set up, the gauging components must be centered in the Side Bearings. J-21777-86 contains two Side Bearing discs to center the gauging components above the Pinion Bearings on 9.5" Rear Axles, and to ensure all components are aligned.
