C/K, G/P Van, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L This insert is required to Support the Piston and the Rod during Installation and Removal of the Piston Pin with J 24086-C. It insures that the Installation Load is Transferred to the Rod and not to the Piston. Applies to 5.0/5.7L Engines.
