Kent Moore Tool - J-41676 - Features

  • For General Motors. J, L, N The output shaft in the 5 speed manual transaxle has been redesigned to include a bushing inside the front end of the shaft. The previously installer piloted in the shaft end to install the bearing but will no longer fit due to the smaller inside diameter of the new bushing. Piloting the bearing is important to ensure no side loading and galling of the bearing and shaft during installation with a press. The tool contacts the inner race to avoid transfer of the press load through the bearing.
