Supercharged 6.2L V8s will have a 9-Bolt Rear Crank Shaft flange due to their performance Output. Current Rear Crank Shaft Seal Pilot J-41479-2A will not fit 9-Bolt Crank Shafts. J-41479-2B will replace the existing J-41479-2A, allowing the balance of J-41479-A components to be used to Install the Seal. J-41479-2B will back-service to 1997, and will update the complete Rear Seal Installer to J-41479-B. Unapproved Installation methods may damage or incorrectly Install the Seal, resulting in Leaks.
