The 3.4L LNJ in the Equinox and Torrent has the Torque required for the balancer Bolt of 125 Nm + 130 degrees. The Crank Shaft must be held in position to ensure the angle is reached for the Bolt to be Installed correctly. Holding the Flywheel will hold the Crank Shaft for both Removal and Installation of the balancer Bolt. Unapproved methods will not allow the correct Clamp Load to be applied, and may damage the Flywheel
