OTC’s new Magnetic Induction Heating System provides technicians with a fast, efficient method for parts removal and repair, without the additional time and liability of using an open flame. Safely concentrate and control heat precisely where it’s needed, reducing the need for torches or solvents. Less flame and less solvents reduces potential safety hazards and insurance rates. Will only heat metal objects, enabling it to be used in or near heat-sensitive areas. Easy-to-read heat output meter to quickly verify induction heat.. With an available power rating of 1500 watts, the OTC6650 is ideal for mechanical repair, auto body repair and recycling facilities, producing heat in seconds within metal objects such as body panels, nuts, bolts and pinchweld areas behind glass...without heating or damaging non-metal objects such as glass, paint or plastic. Comes complete with bolt, glass and body panel inductors, foot switch and instructional CD. All inductors, with the exception of the body inductor, are incapsulated in a flame-retardant polymer which provides protection against impact, abrasion, heat or other accidental damage. All inductors have an electrical interlock and/or molded strain releifs. CE and CSA approval with UL compliance offers proof of OTC6650 quality construction and safety design. |
