NEXIQ also prepares you for the future by enabling the Brake-Link™ to interface with the new trailer PLC (Power Line Carrier) bus utilizing the SAE J2497 protocol. As new brake systems become available, new software can be downloaded to the Brake-Link™ by purchasing an update kit.
